An Important Formation Experience

A formation experience that I experienced at mass during Fr. Louis’s homily brought me to realize how important it is to pray the rosary and to stay close to Mary and her son. Formation coaching has really helped me to realize that I can achieve my goals since I know I’m not the only one doing it. The teachers are very helpful when it comes to formation. Every teacher that has taught me has made a change in my life for the better. -Carrie Walker

One formation experience at Everest that has changed me is adoration. We have a great adoration at Everest. We get to have it during school and after school it is also at Everest. Adoration has really made me grow in my faith. The priests that talk in adoration have also helped me grow in my faith and they have given great advice for me. -Nora Nedwick

One formation experience at Everest that changed me was the opportunities to go to adoration. I truly feel that every time that I go to a school adoration, I feel so much more close to Jesus. My favorite adorations are on Wednesday nights. I usually go to them after my volleyball practices. Another big part of my catholic life at Everest is ECYD. ECYD is a club for girls from 5-8th. It builds friendships and gets you closer to Jesus. Throughout my middle school years, I have gotten so much closer to our lord. -Mary Groves

One formation at Everest that has changed me was when me and 25 other guys went to the vatican through knights of the altar. The way that people cared for each other over in Italy, especially the vatican. -Jonah Reichert

Some formation experiences that have changed me is the formation coaching here. Every month we get to talk about our connection with God and others. My formation coach, Mrs. Nielson, always gives me the best advice having to do with my friends and any other issues I have. We always discuss important topics that I have struggles with, my academics and ways to get more organized. Because of my formation coaching, I have solved problems in my friendships and created new ones. -Leightyn Sakalian
