Serra-Lowney Named Top 100 in CHSL History

Everest Collegiate’s athletic director, Ann Serra-Lowney, was named one of the Top 100 Female Athletes in CHSL History, recognized during Saturday’s CHSL Prep Bowl. She built an impressive legacy as a multi-sport athlete and leader as a CHSL athlete. In basketball, she earned multiple First Team All-League, All-Catholic, All-County, All-Area, and All-State honors while leading her teams to three district championships, a regional championship, and a state semifinal appearance. As a three-sport athlete, she was also a four-year varsity softball catcher, helping capture a state championship, and a four-year varsity volleyball player.
At Oakland University, she became an All-American, helped lead the Golden Grizzlies to two GLIAC Championships, recorded 483 career assists (still tied for the school record), and was later inducted into the Oakland University Hollie L. Lepley Hall of Honor. Her 1989-90 team was also inducted into the Hall of Honor.
Today, the same passion, leadership, and competitive spirit that defined her athletic career live on through her role as the founder of the athletic program at Everest Collegiate, where she helped establish a culture of excellence for future generations of student-athletes.
Her guiding philosophy remains as relevant today as it was throughout her athletic journey: “Your talents are God's gift to you. What you do with them is your gift to God.”
